Whimbrel is an architectural and structural engineering design practice with head office based in Christchurch.
Our structural engineering design of new houses, residential and commercial buildings, as well as alterations and seismic strengthening to existing houses and buildings. This being Christchurch, much of our work consists of engineering reports on earthquake damaged houses and designing foundation repairs and replacements. We are also interested in helping to design new ways of putting buildings together if you have a new system you would like to develop.
